Tornado Preparedness

Memorial Day is usually considered the kick off to summer and also tornado season. We have seen the death and destruction left by the tornado’s path the past couple of weeks and over the next few months we will probably see additional destruction by new tornado’s. But you don’t have to be a victim. Being prepared means being prepared for the unexpected. Part of your overall preparedness plans should include planning for natural disasters. Tornado’s can come quick but usually there is some notice and time to take shelter. One of the best items you can own is a weather alert radio. They monitors NOAA weather band and automatically alerts you to a wide variety of severe weather. This could give you valuable time to seek shelter.
